    beautiful hotel
    breakfast area
    snack options

exquisite wall paneling, intimate atmosphere, breathtaking water views

A bit cramped in the breakfast area with no background music to mask conversations. An honesty bar is great in theory, but I’d prefer more significant snack options than just crisps!!! Think outside the box!!!

    friendly staff
    winding roads

A castle stay like no other

Woke up to a hearty breakfast, greeted by friendly staff who knew the history of the castle like family. The room was immaculate, and the views were breathtaking.

The winding roads leading to the castle took longer than expected, which added some adventure but also delayed our arrival.

    breathtaking views
    delightful breakfast
    personalized service
    short stay

great stay , but a bit short

The views from my room were truly breathtaking , and the breakfast spread was a delightful way to start the day. The personalized touch from the hostess made the experience special, as she shared stories about the area while serving us. I particularly enjoyed our walk through the nearby woods which offered a serene escape from the hustle and bustle. The sea view was mesmerizing, especially during sunset.

We only had 1 night there, which felt too brief to soak in everything.

    fantastic breakfast
    welcoming service
    local cuisine
    missed opportunity
    short stay

The breakfast here is utterly fantastic—an Irish feast fit for royalty! Plus, Sharon and Veronica made the experience so welcoming, sharing stories about the castle history that made our stay even more special. The nearby restaurant, Mary Ann's, serves up some top-notch local dishes, too.

Honestly, there’s not much to critique. We didn’t get a chance to stroll the grounds—just means we need to plan another visit to soak it all in!

    fantastic breakfast

This castle was stunning. The location, right by the water, added so much charm. I loved exploring the beautiful grounds. a walk around the estate felt magical. The breakfast each morning was fantastic, with plenty of choices. The staff were super friendly and made my stay feel warm and welcoming. My room in the castle had a lovely view, but the bed was a bit hard for my taste, though my friend found hers comfortable. No air conditioning made sleeping tough during a heat wave, but they provided a fan that helped. The castle’s historical atmosphere was captivating, but no elevator made carrying luggage up to the third floor a challenge. Overall, the experience was wonderful, but a bit more comfort in the sleeping arrangements would be nice.
